Phoenix.- Perched above Phoenix, the elegant Wrigley Mansion has been mesmerizing visitors for nearly a century. “The Wrigley Mansion was built in 1929 by chewing gum magnet William Wrigley Jr," said Ben Sinon, Wrigley Mansion General Manager.

The breathtaking home served as a 50th wedding anniversary gift for his wife Ada. “The fifth of their five mansions, this was a vacation home for the Wrigley’s that was used as a stopping point from Chicago to Pasadena and Catalina Island," Sinon said.

The home was used six weeks a year until 1973.

Historic Wrigley Mansion offers 360-degree city and mountain views.

It changed hands many times before being purchased by Geordie Hormel and his wife Jamie in 1992. “They turned it into the restaurant and event venue we use it as today," Sinon said.

From the original Catalina Island tile to the 24-karat gold leaf ceilings to the chewing gum wrapper wall paper and the original Steinway piano, the history is very much alive inside of the magnificent mansion.

“I can’t think of another place in the valley where you get to see the history and the dining experience is second to none," Sinon said.

Chef Christopher Gross moves from Christopher's Restaurant to Geordie's at Wrigley Mansion

James Beard award winning chef Christopher Gross is now the executive chef of Geordie’s Restaurant and has completely transformed the menu. “And some other surprises that we can’t talk about right now but we are excited," Gross said.

The award winning cuisine features escargot in puff pastry, cassoulet of duck, blistered padrón peppers, steak, lamb, fish, pasta and more. More new additions are planned at the Wrigley Mansion so stay tuned.
