TUCSON : Participan mas de 100 mil en dominical All Souls Procession

Tucson, Ariz. - More than 100,000 participants took to the streets of Tucson Sunday night, embracing the culture and creativity of the 28th annual All Souls Procession. The massive group celebrated and grieved in unison. For Nick Marchese of Vermont, it was his first time attending the spectacle. "I'm just enjoying the art that is moving and walking and living and breathing tonight, he said. "We're honoring our ancestors and celebrating the living all at the same time."

Beverley and Steve Tidwell of Tucson lost their 11-year-old son after a seven-year struggle with a brain tumor. This is their 15th All Souls Procession honoring his memory. "It's about love," Steve said. "It's about sharing love with others, sharing the loss of loved ones with others instead of just hiding away."

"Even though my son past away we can really celebrate his life," Beverley said. "And celebrating with each other together has the ability to take some of the edge off the pain."
