TUCSON : Explosion en aceitera de Jojoba deja 5 heridos

Tucson.-  Five injured after explosion caused massive fire at midtown business Firefighters responded to calls of a heavy fire and explosions coming from the plant located at 2101 East Beverly Drive, near East 22nd Street and Aviation Highway, at around 11:41 p.m. 

 Once on scene, firefighters and paramedics quickly began treating victims hurt in the explosion. There were six employees inside the building when the explosion occurred. Five workers were injured and were transported to the hospital. The magnitude and intensity of the blaze forced Tucson Fire to call a second alarm to bring in more firefighters to help fight the massive fire.

 According to Tucson Fire, a broken gas line also fueled the flames that engulfed the entire plant that manufactures jojoba oils used for cosmetic products. 

 Tucson fire says the explosion blew the roof off the building and onto the road.

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Firefighters are responding to a two-alarm building fire near 22nd Street and Aviation Parkway. A building is on fire in the 2100 block of East Beverly Drive, according to Tucson Fire Dept. spokesperson Andy Skaggs. Two people are injured, but the extent of their injuries are not yet known.
